MachineGPT requires access to the data you want to query, such as machine control data, documentation, or error reports. This data is made available through an open API from the platform where you store and manage your data.

None. MachineGPT is designed for intuitive use by service engineers, machine operators, and frontline workers. No prior AI knowledge is required. However, a basic understanding of the machines and their data is recommended, as it directly impacts the depth and relevance of the dialogue.

MachineGPT analyzes live machine data without requiring pre-training. For advanced tasks like fault diagnostics or predictive maintenance, it uses specialized AI agents that automatically access relevant data, perform targeted analyses, and return actionable recommendations. We continuously develop new agents – and if none yet fits your machine, we’ll build one for you.

MachineGPT accesses machine and process data from your connected platform or from documents uploaded to the knowledge base.
To ensure continuous improvement and customization, MachineGPT stores dialog history, configuration settings, usage data, and relevant metadata – exclusively on EU servers and fully compliant with current data protection and security standards.

All customer-provided data remains the sole property of the customer. This includes documents, machine data, and all metadata, configuration files, or usage logs generated during operation. Upon request or at the end of our collaboration, all customer-specific data is fully deleted. We use explicitly shared customer feedback and anonymized usage data only to improve MachineGPT. Your data is never shared with third parties.

In the Standard and Professional plans, additional interactions can be added flexibly – either manually or via automatic top-up with a monthly spending cap. This option is not available in the Free plan – in this plan, you’ll need to wait until the next billing cycle. In the Enterprise plan, we define custom usage limits and guarantees for uninterrupted availability.

Getting started is simple. After sign-up, upload your first documents to the knowledge base, e.g. manuals or troubleshooting guides. You can begin querying MachineGPT immediately. Once your data platform is connected, it can also process live machine data. If answers don’t fully meet your expectations, our support team is here to help. And during ongoing use, you are welcome to send us feedback or feature requests – so your feedback directly shapes future features.

Yes. In the Enterprise plan, MachineGPT can be upgraded with Dataray AI. Specialized Dataray agents enable advanced use cases such as Predictive Maintenance, Predictive Quality, and Process Optimization, directly within the MachineGPT interface. A Dataray license is required and needs to be configured accordingly.
